Nurturing the growth and equipping the minds of children with ADHD, ASD, + anxiety.

What is Empowered Youth Collective?

Empowered Youth Collective (EYC) is an online life coaching practice for kids ages 5–12 (including neurotypical children and those with ADHD, autism, or anxiety) and the parents raising them. EYC exists to fill the gap families experience while waiting on ABA, OT, or speech services, and to keep offering practical, real-time support once those services are underway. Through a Membership Program and a 1:1 Coaching Program, families get age-specific tools, live coaching, and support between sessions, so kids build real skills and parents aren't guessing alone in the meantime. EYC is a coaching practice, not a clinical or licensed service.

Your Coach:

MJ Cruz holds a Master's degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and completed 2,000 hours of supervised practicum and fieldwork as part of that training. She spent 8 years working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), a Program Manager that oversaw other RBT’s within the past 2 years, and over the past decade, has worked directly with more than 100 families, sitting alongside kids and parents through the real, day-to-day lives of ADHD, autism, and anxiety. That work included time alongside occupational, physical, and speech therapy teams across multiple settings, giving her a cross-disciplinary view of how kids are supported beyond behavioral work alone. Along the way, she's also taught English and life skills to children around the world, work that sharpened her ability to connect with kids across ages, cultures, and communication styles. That background, plus training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), is what shapes how she coaches today. EYC is a coaching practice, not a clinical or licensed service.
